18 Hands Riesling is made from property grown fruit that was harvested at the peak of ripeness. Following gentle processing, the juice was transferred to neutral French Oak barriques for fermentation using the yeast naturally present on the grapes. Following fermentation, this Riesling was aged sur lie for 16 months in the same barrels, yielding a concentrated wine with an expansive mouthfeel. After ageing, the wine was racked from barrel and bottled by hand, unfined and unfiltered. Ripe pear, lemon, orange peel and spice are concentrated on the nose of this intense wine. The palate is dry, with bright acidity, a round mouthfeel that balances this wine into its long finish.
